HRH the Tuanku Raja Zarith Sofiah of Johor been re-appointed as the Royal Fellow of UKM. The Raja Zarith Sofiah received the letter of appointment from the Vice Chancellor of UKM, Prof. Tan Sri Dr. Sharifah Hapsah binti Syed Hasan Shahabudin in the Opening Ceremony of SoLLs.INTEC.2011 International Convention hosted by School of Languages ​​and Linguistics, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.

In the ceremony, Tuanku Raja Zarith Sofia urges to use languages as a medium to create a safer world and not to cause anger and hatred that leads to conflict. Language should also be used to foster better relations. The event takes place at Equatorial Hotel, Bandar Baru Bangi, Kuala Lumpur.
